About The Position

As the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at NinjaOne, you will lead the strategy, execution, and operation of our global technology infrastructure. Our global technology infrastructure team includes systems administration, network administration, virtualization, and data center operations. You will drive modernization, ensure reliability and security, and scale our hybrid infrastructure. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic vision with hands-on technical depth. You will guide and grow a world-class team that delivers resilient, secure, and efficient infrastructure across our global environment. Location – Hybrid , Austin, TX. Your work will require time in our Austin office, our offsite datacenter, and some days remotely (from your home).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in networking, systems administration, virtualization, and datacenter management.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure, with experience in Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable enterprise infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CCNP, VCP, MCSE, or CISSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Enterprise Infrastructure organization across systems, networking, virtualization, and datacenter operations.
  • Develop and execute a global infrastructure roadmap aligned with NinjaOne’s business goals.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of NinjaOne’s hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
  • Drive modernization initiatives including virtualization, automation, and cloud enablement.
  • Oversee datacenter operations, capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships, including contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Collaborate with Security, Business Applications, and Procurement to ensure cohesive technology delivery.
  • Define and maintain operational best practices, documentation, and change control standards.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Other duties as needed.
