About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for ensuring the Bank has a streamlined technology infrastructure and that supporting functions are in The Director of Enterprise Architecture provides leadership to define the core technologies and processes necessary to meet client needs including software, data, systems architecture, security, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong demonstrated competencies across the entire Business landscape
  • Banking products, technology, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
  • Lead research initiatives of existing business environment including trends, best practices and company preferred
  • Work well under pressure; manage tight deadlines and situations where conflicting priorities arise.
  • Prioritize work by dividing time, attention and effort between assigned workload and on-going support tasks.
  • Demonstrate success with communication of professional and accurate correspondence and written reports.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • 15 years' experience as a Technology Leader
  • 5+ years of experience leading data and data governance functions
  • 5+ years of experience leading development and automation teams
  • Functional experience with financial services technology and business systems such as: Salesforce, nCino, and FIS Core deposit/loans
  • Strong foundation in computer science with core competencies in statistics, efficient data structures, algorithm designs, data mining, machine learning
  • Experienced with text or sentiment analytics, network / graph analytics and time series modeling
  • Have a successful track record of leading architecture work for large scale projects that represent broad strategic initiatives meeting quantifiable business objectives and resulting in tangible impact for the organization
  • Experience with development of APIs
  • Experience With SQL/NoSQL and Data Structures
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and project management
  • Experience with office automation equipment, including phones, computers and related software, including proficiency with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Monitors external technologies that will impact IT and the business to ensure adequate plans are in place to achieve our stated outcomes
  • Lead and contribute in the selection of technologies implemented
  • Articulate technology solutions and explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints for critical business applications related to a value stream or a set of business or technology capabilities
  • Lead architectural content across all aspects of architecture in support of IT delivery
  • Develop long-term strategies and roadmaps in all architecture disciplines to meet IT and related business goals and identify risk scenarios and mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with other architects and IT delivery teams to define and maintain the Enterprise Blueprint for corporate architecture strategy
  • Coordinate with IT engineering/operations and Enterprise Applications to ensure architectural objectives are being considered and met
  • Collaborate with lines of business to identify ways to improve process execution and achieve operational efficiencies
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for all things technology and balance business needs with technical advances
  • Demonstrate a multifaceted approach to design and understand applications from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low level technical view
  • Showcase exemplary consulting skills and a track record of applying these skills as a practicing architect
