About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Applications is a senior leadership role responsible for aligning technology applications with business needs across the organization. This position oversees the delivery of critical business applications, DevSecOps, and data services, ensuring that technology strategies are aligned with business objectives to deliver significant value. The role involves strategic decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and employee productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
  • Six or more years of experience in IT or supporting a technology organization.
  • Three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.

Nice To Haves

  • Four years managing software development teams.
  • Five years working for a gaming or hospitality company.
  • Experience working for a Native American tribe or tribal enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to strategically select and deploy applications, software, and services to maximize success.
  • Introduce innovative operations capabilities to enhance competitive capabilities and employee productivity.
  • Create new solutions or modify existing applications to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with the IT senior leadership team on service portfolio and governance for resource prioritization.
  • Measure and prioritize new application solutions and resulting ROI/ROO with key stakeholders.
  • Build successful stakeholder relationships by understanding business needs and ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT Security Operations to ensure technology aligns with security strategy.
  • Establish and monitor effective controls for IT processes and functions through formal governance mechanisms.
  • Drive service improvements through continuous improvement programs and share results.
  • Serve on IT planning and policymaking committees to develop enterprise technology standards and performance metrics.
  • Continuously evaluate the business value of technology solutions using metrics like KPIs and OKRs.
  • Collaborate with peer IT leaders to share knowledge and insights.
