We are looking for a Director of Engineering to join our growing Team. The Director of Engineering is the key leader of design and new product innovation, the cornerstone of Harmar’s accelerated growth plans. The Director is an integral member of the team in seeking, understanding and responding to the Voice of the Customer with a compelling product portfolio. The Director must bring an operating discipline to align business goals with creativity, commercial potential, and assurance of manufacturability. The Director of Engineering is responsible for all design engineering activities including new product introductions, cost reduction, technology/research, and lifecycle product support. The position requires excellent technical engineering knowledge coupled with superior people leadership skills, proficiency in quality systems, and business planning expertise. This position works closely with the product management team and other functional leaders in the company while effectively communicating with the executive leadership team. Responsible for devising and effectively implementing a development methodology that ensures superior mobility products while also fostering and rewarding innovation and creativity within the engineering department.
