About The Position

Director of Engineering Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Director of Engineering is responsible for delivery of information systems and technology services that include internally developed applications, cloud infrastructures, databases, help desk, etc. How you will make an impact: • Interfaces with key internal and external technology partners; develops strategies and facilitates execution of business objectives. • Develops Technology Plan and Forecast for enterprise applications, enterprise-wide tools, infrastructure, and manages day to day operations for a major portion of a functional area. • Ensures disaster recovery and business continuity plan are implemented, monitored, and updated on a recurring basis. • Works directly with Information Security to help enforce proper policies and controls. • Directs multiple work functions/applications or major projects/programs with broad scope and strategic business impact. • Establishes business objectives and integrates operational plans. • Negotiates the resolution of intra-organizational issues in the balanced best interests of the business. • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners. • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years managing engineering teams; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
