About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on QA leader who will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor releases, with a focus on validating compatibility in customer environments and end-to-end scenarios as they relate to the overall Falcon Platform. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of various technologies including operating systems, kernel-level testing, and front-end/UI, to build comprehensive end-to-end automation that reflects how enterprises are using the Falcon Platform.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing end-to-end quality assurance strategies.
  • Experience building and implementing test frameworks across various environments.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating customer-reported issues into the testing lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures.

  • Experience testing complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a quality engineering strategy that validates CrowdStrike products against real-world customer environments.
  • Build and oversee a test framework and methodology to drive robust E2E validation of OS/kernel interactions.
  • Oversee teams conducting performance and longevity testing to ensure minimal system overhead for endpoints running the Falcon sensor.
  • Lead efforts in analyzing endpoint telemetry and integrating feedback into testing processes.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, customer support, and operations teams to ensure a deep understanding of customer use cases.
  • Define and track quality KPIs, focusing on customer-found defects and overall release quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing quality engineering team.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the software delivery lifecycle.
