The Director of Engineering, Puerto Rico is responsible for the technical and administrative management for Engineering resources located in and serving Puerto Rico. The disciplines overseen will include Substations, Transmission Lines, Distribution, Protection and Automation, and Civil/Structural.

  • Resource management for design engineering and support resources
  • Work closely with the Project Management Organization (PMO) and other Engineering Leadership for project resourcing and execution
  • Support business development and business operations efforts
  • Have a lead role in interfacing with other Practices
  • Serve as a contact person for clients being supported by assigned Engineering resources
  • Provide leadership, development, mentorship, management, and sound technical guidance in all aspects of our business
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited school or University is required, advanced degree is preferred
  • Fifteen plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to effectively market engineering services outside the Company
  • Certificates, licenses, registrations - Puerto Rico P.E. (or the ability to obtain in a timely manner) strongly preferred
  • Possession of a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in Puerto Rico
