About The Position

The Director of Engineering and Technical Support is responsible for managing, leading, and developing a multi-discipline team of engineers, technical SMEs, and third-party consultants. This role requires fostering a collaborative approach to working across teams, departments, time zones, and business units. The position involves identifying opportunities to increase quality, throughput, and uptime while decreasing costs, determining standard engineering requirements and gaps for all operating facilities, and creating a standard framework for engineering deliverables for new facilities. The Director will own technical processes and procedures, provide process troubleshooting support, and make technical recommendations. Additionally, the role includes ensuring compliance with process safety management and supporting various engineering programs and incident investigations.
