About The Position

The position of Administrative Director of Ancillary Services is a critical leadership role within Piedmont Healthcare, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Ancillary Services. This role encompasses comprehensive administrative and operational responsibilities for designated departments, focusing on the management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care, and clinical outcomes. The director is tasked with ensuring high levels of patient, physician, and staff satisfaction while effectively managing change and other relevant responsibilities associated with the position. As a member of the management team, the director will actively participate in the Shared Governance Model, which emphasizes the promotion of the mission, vision, and values of Piedmont Healthcare. This includes embracing a person-centered philosophy and enhancing patient-family centered services across the continuum of care, ultimately driving value-driven outcomes. The director will be responsible for developing standards of performance, policies, and procedures for their areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining a safe work environment that promotes excellence in customer care. In addition to overseeing planning, growth, and strategic initiatives for assigned departments, the director will function in an advisory capacity to the Vice President of Patient Services, evaluating proposed changes and their implications for the departments. The role also involves managing quality patient care and outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to improve performance, and contributing to marketing and public relations efforts by writing and editing collateral materials such as brochures and fact sheets.
