About The Position

Who We Are Looking For: Are you the Director of Education we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students! Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. Compensation The pay range for this position is $72,000 to $97,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. JRI Provides Training So That: YOU will be able to oversee Swansea Wood’s education department in hiring, supervising, team-teaching as part of supervision, evaluation and training, unit planning, curriculum planning, technology integration, IEP development, development and oversight of related systems to support these tasks. YOU will be able to work in tandem with Swansea Wood’s Clinical, Nursing, Residential Department and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of supportive and enriching programmatic services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties. YOU will be able to provide leadership as a meeting chair, public school liaison, and among others. Why JRI? Be who you are! Requirements

• Masters in Special Education, or a related field required.
• MA DESE license in Moderate Disabilities, grades 5-12 required.
• A MA DESE Special Education Administrator license is required.
• Supervisory experience in an administrative or leadership role.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

• Residential setting or Group Home experience strongly preferred.
