About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: This position guides innovation in payments and digital banking for the four charters of Pinnacle Bank/Bank of Colorado. This role champions the Banks’ digital banking products, reviews offerings against the market, evaluates new products, ensures optimal customer experience, and continually seeks system improvements and efficiency opportunities. Additionally, the Director is responsible for optimizing current payment platforms, selecting new payment products, assessing the payments landscape, and driving efficiency in the payments process. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives initiatives to enhance customer experience in payments and digital channels Develops business cases and ROI analyses for proposed innovations. Guides usage and optimization of existing payment platforms. Reviews digital banking offerings against market benchmarks. Assesses and recommends new payment products and digital banking solutions. Monitors payments landscape for emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitive trends. Partners with internal teams and vendors for seamless integration and compliance. Supports risk management and security protocols for payment and digital banking platforms. Coordinates with training teams on new product rollouts. Regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned. Regularly exercising independent judgement and discretion over matters of significance. Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for this role. While remote work may be available periodically, there are times when being in the office is necessary to maintain our collaborative efforts. Therefore, this position cannot be primarily performed remotely.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of payment systems, digital banking platforms, and financial technology trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in banking, payments, or digital banking innovation.
  • Proven track record of implementing solutions and driving process improvements.
  • Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration.
