Brown & Brown is seeking a Director of Digital Delivery to join our growing team! The Director of Delivery will build and lead an organization that is responsible for the delivery of cloud-based solutions leveraging modern technology and concepts. Will be responsible for developing, releasing and maintaining custom developed applications to support our business needs.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree (preferred) Degree in computer science or a related field required.
• 5+ years of management experience in an IT environment.
• Sound working knowledge of Agile Development, cloud fundamentals and DevSecOps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, utilize and maintain software engineering applications.
• Prepare all required Technical Proposal pertinent to software engineering.
• Administer support for Business Development, Systems Engineering and SR Technical personnel.
• Supervise training and development of software engineering staff.
• Assign work to software engineering personnel and evaluate plus manage their performance.
• Support to recruit engineering personnel, technical staffing and project team formation.
• Supervise software engineering deliverables.
• Manage continuing support and provide system metrics for client facing products.
• Present practical input for strategic technology decisions.
• Help translation of business requirements into technical needs and actions.
• Supervise reporting responsibility for independent software contractors, software engineers and outsourcing partners.
• Ensure software engineering personnel is suitably trained to perform all job functions and suitably use project and software related tools.
• Measure results for projects and refine capabilities in selecting business cases to solve.
