The Director of Development is the lead fundraiser and team manager of the Foundation’s Development team, within our Advancement Department. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this role will design and implement a multi-year data-informed, multi-channel fundraising strategy to expand philanthropic revenue from individual, corporate, and foundation sources. This role oversees individual giving, institutional fundraising, donor engagement, and planned giving, while managing and personally growing a portfolio of major donors, to strengthen and grow charitable revenue. The Foundation currently secures approximately $21 million in charitable revenue annually, with a goal of increasing philanthropic income by at least 4.5% year over year for the next five years. In our 75-year history, the Foundation has not applied for or sought government grants for funding. The Director manages a team of five full-time staff, and partners closely with Communications, Events, Volunteer Services, Finance, and Service Program Leadership to achieve shared advancement goals.
