Crypto is one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving areas at Robinhood, playing a critical role in our long-term strategy. We're seeking a Director of Design to lead design across this space, driving high-impact work that defines the future of crypto at Robinhood. This is a senior leadership role with broad influence across product, strategy, and execution. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to shape the vision, elevate design craft, and scale a high-performing team. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, Bellevue, WA, or New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week. Requirements

• Deep expertise in crypto and a clear perspective on how design can shape innovative, user-centered product experiences in this space
• Proven success in leading design at the Director level or equivalent in high-growth, product-led organizations
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and partner at the executive level
• A thoughtful and assertive leadership style—comfortable challenging opinions while championing the team
• Relentless attention to detail and a passion for exceptional design craft
• Experience growing and managing multidisciplinary design teams

Responsibilities

• Lead, scale, and structure the crypto product design team, spanning both product and content design
• Drive a high bar for design craft and user experience across all crypto initiatives
• Partner closely with senior cross-functional stakeholders to shape strategy and execution
• Define and communicate a clear design vision that aligns with broader company goals
• Stay closely connected to the day-to-day of design execution while empowering the team to thrive
