Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering, including 4+ years managing teams of data managers
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, from executives to product and operations teams
• Expertise in data science, machine learning, statistics, financial modeling, and experimentation for commercial applications
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with an opinionated approach to using data effectively
• Experience in building data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and scalable reporting tools
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities
• Experience working with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and HR teams to ensure adherence to best practices
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to articulate insights, strategy, and technical direction

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team of 30+ data scientists and data engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and guidance
• Drive data strategy, architecture, and tooling to support business-wide analytics and decision-making
• Influence and embed data culture across product, growth, risk, and business expansion teams
• Partner with business leaders and executives to deliver actionable insights and advanced analytics
• Oversee the use of statistical methods, machine learning, and experimentation to inform key business decisions
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards while supporting operational needs
