As Director of Data Quality at Epicor, you will lead a transformative enterprise-wide initiative to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across our billion-dollar software organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic data quality framework that supports analytics, AI-driven products, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking applicants with strong business acumen, deep technical expertise in data governance, and a passion for building scalable systems that drive operational excellence and customer trust.

  • Develop and execute a company-wide data quality strategy aligned with business growth and compliance goals
  • Lead three specialized teams—Data Governance, Audit & Data Stewards, and Data Operations—totaling 10–20 professionals
  • Architect and scale automated governance controls, audit dashboards, and correction processes across enterprise systems
  • Present data quality metrics and insights to executive leadership and board-level committees
  • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, finance, and external partners
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to maintain 99.5%+ data accuracy
  • Foster a culture of data excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement across all teams
  • 10+ years’ experience in data management, including 7+ years in leadership roles
  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise data governance and quality management
  • Experience managing large-scale data initiatives in $1B+ software organizations
  • Expertise in data lake architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data technologies
  • Proficiency with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataRobot) and governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing, and finance data domains
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Analytics, or related field
  • Professional certifications in data management (CDMP, DAMA) or cloud platforms
  • Background in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software products
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR) and audit processes
  • Exposure to AI applications in data validation and quality controls
