Cisco is seeking a Director of Customer Public Relations to lead and scale its global customer storytelling strategy for the Customer Experience (CX) organization. The leader will join a wider team focused on showcasing how Cisco is reimagining Customer Experience for the AI era, by harnessing the capabilities of AI to deliver a more personalized, predictive and proactive, and helping customers to enhance their investments in Cisco technology. This leader will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer experience, and executive leadership to amplify the voices of Cisco's customers and demonstrate the tangible impact of our technology. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver and self-starter with deep customer PR/storytelling expertise, outstanding copywriting skills, executive influence, and the ability to complete high-impact and creative customer PR campaigns. Grow Cisco's global customer PR program and team, positioning Cisco as the leader in AI-powered Customer Experience (CX) as well as the technology partner of choice in AI, security and networking. Work closely with Cisco's global communications teams to integrate customer success stories into speaking engagements, media opportunities, analyst relations, investor relations, and social media. Oversee cross-functional storytelling efforts, aligning with sales, customer experience, and marketing to ensure customer communications for the Customer Experience organization support Cisco's broader business goals. Craft competitive positioning by proactively using customer proof points to differentiate Cisco's solutions in Customer Experience, as well as AI, security, and networking. Build and optimize the structure, processes, and success metrics of Cisco's customer PR program, establishing clear goals, tracking impact through data-driven measurement, and ensuring alignment with broader corporate communications and business objectives.
