Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Material Science, Semiconductor Engineering or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive quality, customer‐quality or operations leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. At least 5 years in a global, customer‐facing, leadership role
  • Skills
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front end wafer, backend assembly & test, packaging, test engineering, reliability and failure mechanisms)
  • Skilled in Reliability test, methods and failure mechanisms
  • Proven experience dealing with major global customers and handling global quality initiatives
  • Solid leadership capability: operating across geographies (Americas,EMEA, APAC), influencing without direct authority
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in English): comfortable interfacing with technical experts, senior executives and global customers
  • Background in new product development process
  • Professional knowledge of quality systems, methods, procedures, and tools (e.g., risk management, FMEA, 8D, 5whys, etc.)
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally at short notice (25%)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of industry standards (IJEDEC, IATF, AEC, IEC) is preferred
  • Knowledge in semiconductor design process/ Design for Reliability(DfR)

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated Quality and Reliability expert for corporate customer to drive Custom Silicon Management (CSM) projects requirements, internal communication and assessment or implementation
  • Ensures complete understanding of Quality and Reliability requirements for CSM projects through close and regular alignment with the customer counterpart
  • Be able to work with the customer and internal Infineon stakeholders to produce a harmonized strategy for CSM requirements and effectively capture lessons learned within the organization
  • Drive improvement initiatives and projects across Infineon to optimize CSM engagement
  • Accountable for CSM Quality and Reliability performance with focus onCSM Scorecard improvement
  • Lead CSM quality visits and drive identified CSM project improvements to closure
  • Steer CSM qualification escalation topics towards resolution
  • Be able to define and document subset requirements for small CSM projects
