MMUUSD is seeking an experienced, visionary Director of Curriculum to lead districtwide curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. This leadership role works collaboratively across all schools to ensure high-quality, standards-based, proficiency-based, and innovative learning experiences for all students. The Director of Curriculum: Leads the design, selection, development, and evaluation of curriculum, assessment, and instructional programs across PK–12. Guides long-range planning for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. Drives continuous improvement efforts and the development of innovative academic programs. Supports educational technology integration to enhance and transform teaching and learning. Collaboratively leads elementary, middle, and secondary system transformation initiatives. Oversees programs including (but not limited to) Title I, Spanish Immersion Program, prevention, student wellness, teacher mentoring, instructional leadership teams, and Title II-A professional development. Our district includes five PreK–4 schools, two grades 5–8 middle schools, and a comprehensive 9–12 high school.
