About The Position
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction supports and advances the mission of FCS by working closely with the principals and superintendents to assure that the philosophy of Fredericksburg Christian School and the quality of instruction are maintained; helps assess the needs of the programs in each department, assists in the training of teachers and assistants as directed by the principals; works with individual teachers to strengthen skills; is actively involved in curriculum development and in-service training; reports to the Head of School. Functions as an active member of the administrative team, keeping the Head of School and Principals informed of needs and activities related to curriculum and instruction.
