Reporting to the Chief Community Engagement and Equity Officer, the Director of Culturally Responsive Programs (DOCRP) leads the Foundation's culturally specific portfolio within the Community Engagement and Equity Department. This leader will set strategic direction and guide proactive grantmaking, community engagement, and program development with and for specific cultural communities-particularly Black, Indigenous, Latino, AAPI, and immigrant communities. DOCRP will oversee a dedicated team and manage a portfolio that blends grantmaking, convening, advocacy, and partnership-building to increase engagement, trust, and measurable impact in these communities. Beyond grantmaking, the Director will leverage partnerships across the philanthropic, nonprofit, public, and private sectors, as well as engage in public policy efforts. They will also cultivate relationships with donors and explore new opportunities to grow resources and expand grantmaking capacity. DOCSP will champion best practices in participatory grantmaking and inclusive community engagement, advancing the program strategy by monitoring the field and staying abreast of local, regional, and national trends.
