The schedule may include Saturdays/Sundays. Our Directors of Culinary Services Create a beautiful, delicious, and well balanced range of meals for our residents. Help hire and train new Team Members, building a passion for the culinary arts! Assist in the preparation of meals Periodically review the menu and food service with our residents to ensure satisfaction and brainstorm new menu ideas! Deliver a menu and service aligned with our Transforming Age Culture of Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Five years’ experience as executive chef, chef in hotel, restaurant, club, or other similar employment.
  • Experience in menus for restricted diets.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Able to meet budgets and control costs.
  • Completion of a background check.
  • Additional prescreening requirements such as a drug test, fingerprint, TB test, and/or physical may be required per state/local guidelines.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
