About The Position

The Director, Corporate Security Operations at Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is a leadership role responsible for managing security operations to protect the company's employees, facilities, assets, and reputation. This position acts as the Deputy Chief Security Officer (CSO) and ensures the execution of security policies and programs in compliance with regulations. The director will lead incident response efforts, collaborate with law enforcement, and oversee various security operations, including physical security and executive protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 10 years of security experience
• Minimum 5 years of corporate security experience
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing people
• Experience with business operations and security implications
• Experience developing relationships with law enforcement partners
• Experience managing executive protection, travel, and special event security programs
• Experience operating complex security technology solutions
• Experience managing or overseeing a Security Operations Center
• Professional Certification such as CPP or FBI National Academy Graduate preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the electric utility industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct Corporate Security employees and oversee vendor contracts.
• Oversee Physical Security operations, including incident response activities and threat assessments.
• Lead security incident response efforts.
• Develop and enforce Physical Access Control and Visitor Management policies.
• Manage armed security officer operations and off-duty police officer engagement.
• Oversee Physical Security Operations Center and associated tasks.
• Develop programs for Special Event Security, Travel Security, and Executive Protection operations.
• Monitor and assess security threats impacting company operations and implement mitigation plans.
• Recruit, develop, and administer security functions, directing staff in security assessments and solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to elevate knowledge of business risks associated with physical security.
