The Director of Corporate Relations at United Way of Greater Atlanta plays a pivotal role in the Office of Development, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Relations. This full-time position is integral to driving engagement and increasing revenue for the Child Well-Being Impact Fund through strategic partnerships with key corporate partners. The primary objective of this role is to cultivate and strengthen relationships with corporate partners and individual donors, ultimately leading to increased investments in United Way programs, initiatives, sponsorships, and other engagement opportunities. The Corporate Relations Team is responsible for establishing United Way as the philanthropic partner of choice among corporate stakeholders, working closely with external partners such as donors, volunteers, and corporate leaders, while also collaborating internally across various departments within the organization. In this capacity, the Director will manage a small number of vital corporate partnerships, adhering to internal policies and best practices related to corporate management and fundraising. The role involves working collaboratively with multiple Development Teams and other staff members to enhance relationships with decision-makers and C-suite leaders. The Director will oversee the Senior Associate Director and the Associate Director of Corporate Relations, who are tasked with retaining and growing corporate partnerships and workplace giving within their portfolios. A comprehensive plan will be developed and executed to build strategic year-round relationships that align with the mission, vision, and values of United Way, generating revenue to support community work. The Director of Corporate Relations must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. This role is essential in supporting the goals of expanding the base of support for United Way, increasing corporate engagement, and fostering strong relationships with individual donors to enhance their involvement through investment, volunteerism, and service opportunities. Additionally, the Director will work to raise awareness and knowledge among prospects, donors, and key stakeholders about the Child Well-Being Movement.
