Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field preferred, or actively pursuing
  • American Red Cross/American heart Association BLS instructor Certified
  • American Red Cross/American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certified
  • Clean driving record with current NC driver's license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privileges

Responsibilities

  • Hire, direct, manage, and develop education staff to ensure high-quality and engaging learning experiences for all colleagues.
  • Distribute approved clinical education communications and education to defined target audiences through established channels.
  • Assist departmental leaders in identifying opportunities for workflow improvements.
  • Assist in the creation of education materials to educate staff on workflow and process improvements.
  • Responsible for the oversight of policy and procedure, and the distribution and education of policy and process changes to staff.
  • Evaluate the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of education materials, workflows, and policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of approved improvements and standardizations and communicate findings back to COO/CNO.
  • Responsible for Maintaining data base for Patient Satisfaction Surveys and distributing to Sr. Director of Nursing in a timely fashion.
  • Oversee the training, orientation, and performance of education staff.
  • Coordinate with applicable outside vendors when necessary.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assure staff attend relevant education trainings and meetings.
  • Build relationships with staff and collaborators to deliver the full range of services to departments.
  • Maintain and foster a professional and customer service-oriented attitude among colleagues, customers and visitors.
  • Participate in Eagle Excellence Teams and supports Eagle Excellence initiative.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings.
