Position Summary The Director of Corporate Development is a front-line new business leader responsible for managing donors and acquiring net-new corporate product donors (retailers, brands, and manufacturers) and converting them into multi-year partnerships that deliver high-need goods into Good360’s nonprofit network. This role owns end-to-end donor acquisition—building a high-quality pipeline, opening doors with senior decision-makers, advancing opportunities through discovery and negotiation, and launching repeatable product donation flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate business development, strategic partnerships, enterprises sales, or a related field.
  • Proven new business development track record closing partnerships with enterprise or mid-market companies; experience with retailers/brands/manufacturers is a plus.
  • Comfortable selling solutions that touch operations and logistics (reverse logistics, supply chain, sustainability, or waste reduction).
  • Strong consultative selling skills: discovery, value framing, executive storytelling, and negotiation.
  • Highly organized pipeline discipline; proficiency with Salesforce CRM tools and forecasting.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate deal terms into executable launch plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own new donor acquisition strategy and execution: target selection, outreach, meeting generation, discovery, and qualification.
  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, close, and launch.
  • Develop sector-based growth plans and account maps across CSR/ESG, sustainability, reverse logistics, supply chain, and community impact teams.
  • Craft and deliver a compelling value proposition that connects product philanthropy to corporate priorities (waste diversion, sustainability goals, operational efficiency, community impact, and brand trust).
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline with clear stages, next steps, and close plans; drive consistent weekly activity and momentum.
  • Coordinate internal alignment for launches (operations, compliance, nonprofit strategy, marketing/comms, and finance) to ensure a strong first-donation experience and repeatable donation flow.
  • Track performance against new business KPIs and continuously improve conversion rates through disciplined pipeline management.
