About The Position

KenCrest is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to lead and grow institutional philanthropy in support of our mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, independent, and meaningful lives. This role is perfect for someone who excels at developing and executing comprehensive corporate and foundation relations strategies, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate and private foundation funders. The ideal candidate is both a skilled grants strategist and a proactive relationship builder, comfortable working across programs, finance, evaluation, and senior leadership to translate priorities into fundable opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5 + years of experience in corporate and foundation relations or in a non-profit fundraising environment.
• Proven success securing significant grants from corporate and foundation funders.
• Strong grant writing and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to KenCrest’s mission and values.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate and foundation fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate and foundation partners.
• Write and manage grant proposals, letters of inquiry, reports, and funder communications.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership teams to align funding with organizational priorities.
• Manage grant pipelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Supervise Grant Manager and collaborate on initiatives and projects.
• Represent KenCrest with funders at meetings, site visits, and community events.
