The Director will be responsible for the day to day operational management and accreditation of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Develops activities to meet identified educational need while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the CME Program and the School. Responsible for sourcing funding that fully supports the CME Program and Office of CME to include expansion of budget and revenue return to the School. Establishes policy and procedures; supervises staff; markets overall programs; provides financial oversight for all areas; and assists the Executive Director of Faculty Affairs, Assistant Dean of the CME Program and the Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs with special projects as assigned.

  • Manage day to day operations of the CME Program.
  • Ensure accreditation of the CME Program.
  • Develop activities to meet educational needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the CME Program.
  • Source funding to support the CME Program.
  • Establish policies and procedures for the CME Program.
  • Supervise staff within the CME Program.
  • Market overall CME programs.
  • Provide financial oversight for all areas of the CME Program.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the medical or medical education field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible management experience.
  • Five years of experience supervising others.
  • All required credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
