About The Position

Endurance IT Services provides Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity Solutions, IT Consulting, and IT Staffing across Direct Hire, Contract-to-Hire, and Contract roles, along with select internal full time opportunities. Some roles may shift as client needs evolve, but our focus is always on helping candidates find the right long term fit. We are seeking a Director of Content Strategy to own the narrative, structure, and planning behind all content initiatives. This role ensures every piece of content has purpose, consistency, and alignment with business and growth goals. The position is responsible for defining the editorial point of view, maintaining brand messaging frameworks, and driving content performance across platforms.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinking and ability to define clear brand storytelling.
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to set priorities.
  • Expertise in content effectiveness measurement and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to ensure consistency and cohesion across all content touchpoints.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, or brand storytelling.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement and growth.
  • Familiarity with content performance metrics and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with creative departments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the company’s content strategy and editorial perspective.
  • Build and maintain brand narrative and messaging frameworks.
  • Own content architecture across all platforms and channels.
  • Develop thought leadership and category storytelling initiatives.
  • Lead case studies and portfolio brand storytelling strategies.
  • Build and manage content calendars and publishing cadence.
  • Guide copy, editorial tone, and storytelling standards.
  • Align content with growth, demand generation, and brand objectives.
  • Track and analyze content performance and insights to optimize effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Services to bring stories to life.
