The Director of Construction, under the general management and supervision of the VP of Construction, has primary responsibility to manage the Construction Department and oversee both pre-construction and construction processes of all capital projects assigned. Must be an active Florida Certified General Contractor at time of application. The Director of Construction will manage Plymouth Harbor Team Members and outside vendors regarding the successful completion of all projects assigned. The Director will coordinate projects, as needed, with the Director of Plant Operations and other departments. The Director is responsible for creating and managing the department’s operating budget and reporting variances monthly. The Director shall assist the VP of Construction in developing the annual Capital Budget each year. The Director is responsible for creating and managing the budget for all unit remodels and assigned capital projects and reporting variances monthly. The Director is responsible for tracking the progress of all unit remodel and assigned capital projects and reporting variances monthly. The Director is responsible for interacting with prospective residents through the unit remodel process and resolving issues as they arise.
