About The Position

The Director of Concessions at Indiana University Athletics will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional food and beverage experience for fans attending events. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the concessions operations, ensuring that the team delivers unforgettable experiences while achieving high levels of guest satisfaction and financial performance. The Director will lead a dedicated team, focusing on recruitment, training, and engagement to maintain quality standards and operational excellence. In this role, the Director will collaborate closely with the location leadership team to drive continuous improvements in both guest satisfaction and financial results. This includes managing season planning and event preparation to ensure maximum readiness for events, as well as overseeing point of sale updates and regular maintenance checks. The Director will also conduct calorific analysis of menu items in partnership with the culinary team and ensure timely implementation of promotions. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for loss prevention activities, managing cash drops and collections, and overseeing compliance with Payment Card Information rules. The role requires conducting monthly financial reporting, ensuring regular maintenance and cleaning of concessions areas, and managing team member incidents and scheduling. The Director will also lead training initiatives, support the development of future leaders, and ensure a high level of service during events. This position is crucial for maintaining the standards and reputation of Levy as a leader in sports and entertainment hospitality.
