The Director of Compliance will lead and manage AMP’s regulatory and operational compliance across our national network of aesthetic practices. This individual is responsible for ensuring AMP adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and healthcare regulations while fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct. This position will partner with clinical and operational leaders to develop, implement, and monitor policies and programs that mitigate risk and support AMP’s growth in the Med-Aesthetic space.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company-wide compliance program, policies, and procedures tailored to the medical aesthetics industry.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, FDA, state medical board regulations, and all other applicable healthcare laws.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments across AMP locations; develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Clinical Operations on training, investigations, and disciplinary actions related to compliance issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to practice managers and clinical leaders on operational compliance, scope of practice, physician supervision, and delegation laws.
  • Review and ensure compliant marketing, patient communications, and social media materials.
  • Oversee internal reporting systems for compliance issues and maintain related documentation.
  • Track and respond to regulatory changes that may impact AMP’s operations or provider network.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel, regulators, or auditors as needed.
  • Lead compliance due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD, RN, or advanced degree in healthcare or compliance-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of healthcare compliance experience, including at least 2 years in aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or a similar field.
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state laws governing medical practice, telemedicine, supervision/delegation, HIPAA, and advertising in healthcare.
  • Proven ability to educate, influence, and support teams across various disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, PE-backed or growth-stage organization.
  • Experience building or scaling a compliance function in a multi-site healthcare or aesthetics organization strongly preferred.
