  • Mentor and support the development of internal attorneys.
  • Direct cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and legal teams to address various legal issues.
  • Work with external stakeholders and industry groups to advocate for balanced intellectual property law and policy.
  • Serve as the senior leader for engagement with outside counsel and manage complementary intellectual property litigation efforts.
  • Advance inclusion and diversity initiatives across Apple and the legal profession.
  • JD degree
  • 15+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Attorney with 15+ years of experience managing complex complementary intellectual property litigation, strategy, and related risk management
  • Significant experience managing post grant review proceedings in front of the PTAB
  • Significant experience counseling companies on trade secret mitigation, both on outbound and inbound risks.
  • Proven ability to communicate at a senior executive level, synthesizing complex legal and technical information for cross-functional leadership
  • Experience managing cross-border legal issues and global teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance risk management and value creation in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
