Requirements

Proven experience in feed ingredient or grain commodity trading
Demonstrated personal success in generating margin through buying and selling
Ability to build and maintain a strong customer network
Hands-on operator who closes deals, not just manages people
Strong understanding of commodity markets and pricing dynamics
Self-starter with strong accountability for results
Competitive and driven to win in the market
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch
Team-oriented and aligned with a values-driven culture
High urgency and willingness to go beyond standard hours when needed

Responsibilities

Buy and sell animal feed ingredients to generate net margin and manage commodity risk
Build and expand a book of business with new and existing customers
Develop and execute trading strategies based on market conditions
Establish customer relationships and drive new business development
Collaborate with internal teams across finance, nutrition, logistics, and feed milling operations
Manage pricing, contracts, and credit processes for new and existing customers
Contribute to ERP and systems alignment for trading operations
