About The Position
This critical leadership role will be responsible for every aspect of underwriting for the commercial real estate lending program, which includes investment residential; multifamily and mixed-use; bridge and value-add; flex capital; ground-up construction and transactional funding; with loan sizes in the range of $250,000 to $5 million, but primarily focused on shorter duration, smaller balance loans. Functions under the Director of Commercial Credit and Lending Operations will be broad, from hands-on day-to-day underwriting and processing tasks to the eventual hiring and overseeing of a small team of underwriters, processors and appraisal reviewers as needed during expansion of the CREL program. Additionally, the Director of Commercial Credit and Lending Operations will provide risk management oversite across several areas of the business and will have opportunity to assist with build-out of new CREL product offerings. The Director of Commercial Credit and Lending Operations will be based out of Northwest San Antonio and will report to the CEO, John Eisinger.
