About The Position

Aramark’s APEX division is dedicated to powering peak retail performance through innovative supply chain solutions and food & beverage enablement. APEX has recently acquired Joyride Coffee—the first and only 100% Aramark-owned coffee brand. Together APEX and Joyride are positioned to shape the future of coffee at Aramark. This newly created Director role is designed for a true champion of coffee and brand building. You will lead the Joyride Coffee business, driving brand activation, product development, and growth. Leveraging the APEX team’s entrepreneurial spirit and track record of dynamic innovation, you will engage, influence, and inspire Aramark to realize the full potential of Joyride Coffee across all lines of business and beyond.

Requirements

  • Coffee Industry Expert: Deep knowledge of the coffee industry, with experience leading and growing successful third wave or specialty coffee brands.
  • Brand Champion: Passionate about coffee and brand storytelling, injecting meaning and energy into Joyride.
  • Proactive Leader: Demonstrates high agency—takes initiative, makes decisions, and drives outcomes.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Skilled in verbal, interpersonal, and digital communication; proficient with Windows platforms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
  • Innovative & Collaborative: Thrives working on a fast-paced, innovative team; able to work cross-functionally and inspire others.
  • Flexible & Mobile: Willing and able to travel overnight 25%-50% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Brand Activation: Develop and execute strategies to activate Joyride Coffee as Aramark’s flagship brand, driving awareness, engagement, and adoption.
  • Drive Product Development: Oversee the creation and enhancement of Joyride’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market trends and client needs.
  • Engage Sellers: Inspire and influence Aramark sellers across all lines of business to champion Joyride Coffee, providing tools, training, and support.
  • Client Partnership: Build trusted relationships with strategic partners, driving value and brand expansion.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with cross-functional partners (sales, marketing, supply chain, convenience retail, technology, finance, etc.) to deliver on Joyride’s vision.
  • Industry Leadership: Represent Joyride at industry events generating visibility and credibility for the brand.
