The Director of Clinical Specialty Pharmacy Operations is responsible for developing and leading the clinical and operational aspects of Rx To Go. The Director will focus on creating synergies across clinical teams in Rx To Go, ensuring the optimization of patient outcomes through standardized workflows and expectations. Responsibilities include training, development, and education to facilitate industry-leading clinical service, leading compliance processes, maintaining accreditation standards, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Director will also act as the Pharmacist in Charge (P.I.C.).

  • Leads team of pharmacists that perform clinical desktop reviews and verify accurate data entry, clinical quality, and drug utilization review alerts.
  • Oversees a team of product verification pharmacists to ensure correct medication placement into patient labels and vials.
  • Leads a team of nurses to optimize patient care and pharmacy accreditation, providing injection training and education to patients.
  • Manages the pharmacy's budget and resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Develops and implements new clinical programs and services based on clinical trial requirements.
  • Trains and develops pharmacy staff to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborates with other departments to meet pharmacy goals and objectives.
  • Pharm D or BPharm required.
  • Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
  • Active Florida Pharmacist license required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of pharmacy experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing clinical and non-clinical pharmacy personnel.
  • Active Pharmacist license in additional jurisdictions as assigned.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
