About The Position

The Director of Clinic and Physician Services leads and oversees daily operations for assigned clinics and service lines, ensuring smooth, high-quality performance across all areas. This role drives operational excellence, manages financial performance, and supports physician services through hands-on leadership and effective supervision of staff and supervisors. Mercyhealth rewards Director-level leadership with an annual performance bonus opportunity of up to 15% each fiscal year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Three to five years of pervious group practice management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Computer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all operations of assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).
  • Responsible for clinical outcomes, financial performance, patient satisfaction scores for the assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).
  • Recruits, trains and evaluates management and supervisory staff.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates clinic policies, goals, and objectives to ensure delivery of quality care, efficient operations and compliance with regulations of all regulatory agencies so that the Mercyhealth Mission, Vision and Values are fulfilled.
  • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic and product line programs.
  • Interprets and enforces department and institution policies.
  • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic and product line program.
  • Participates in appropriate clinic and health system committees.
  • Investigates and resolves complaints or refers unusual problems to superior.
  • Works closely with Vice President in developing and implementing strategic policies.
  • Maintains continuing development and implementation of clinic and product line QA & I program.
  • Participates in analysis aimed at key initiatives and projects for assigned product line(s).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
