About the position
Echo is searching for a volunteer Director of Client Engagement who will manage the Family Counselors (Lead Counselors, Counselor Co-Chairs), Counselor Administration, and Data Entry teams who are responsible for helping ECHO accomplish its mission of providing assistance to individuals and families in need within the Burke/Springfield community. These volunteers engage with potential clients to determine eligibility and need, and then work with clients to assure that they are receiving the needed assistance. The Director of Client Engagement oversees a process that begins with determining the individual's eligibility for ECHO support, the type(s) of support needed, and a pathway to self-sufficiency (if practical) or until the client moves from the ECHO support area. Responsibilities
