About The Position

Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Civil Engineering for their Tampa team! Responsibilities: Develop, initiate and implement a business plan/strategy building Build/maintain client relationships Assist with business development opportunities Recruit/retain high performing team members Mentor/train junior staff Interact and collaborate with other Directors and company leaders across Florida and corporate wide Develop, manage and achieve financial metrics of the group, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth Monitor/direct project managers to achieve project and financial success overall projects within the group Negotiate contracts, fees, and terms with clients and other partners Ensure company high quality design standards are met

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering
PE License
12+ years of Civil design experience
Broad civil engineering expertise and an understanding of basic FLA permitting requirements
Experience with municipal and other public projects preferred
Experience managing staff/clients
Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
