About The Position
The University of Cincinnati is seeking a Director of Cell Therapies, who will also hold the title of Assistant or Associate Professor at the Hoxworth Blood Center. This position is part of the College of Medicine, which has a long-standing reputation for excellence in training healthcare professionals and conducting innovative research that enhances patient care. The Hoxworth Blood Center, recognized as the oldest operational blood center in the United States, is uniquely positioned as a university-owned facility and is the sole provider of GTP cell therapy products in the Cincinnati area. The successful candidate will oversee the cell therapy processing program, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves leadership in technical procedures, financial management, and human resource management, as well as participation in multidisciplinary clinical research and education. The position is designed for individuals with a strong background in transfusion medicine, hematology, and immunotherapies, and offers opportunities for collaborative research within a vibrant academic health center environment.
