About The Position

As the Director of Catering Services for a premier corporate client, you will be the on-site point of contact for all catering services. As an integral part of the operations, you'll provide both high level leadership and hands on support for this high volume, elaborate food service operation. You will oversee a team of 4 managers and 25+ catering attendants, ensuring the highest level of technical and hospitality services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience
• Experience managing >15M in managed volume
• Strong knowledge of food and industry trends
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing catering events in a high volume, luxury F&B environment
• ServSafe certification, recommended
• Superior communication and problem-solving/strategizing skills
• Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate and ensure outstanding catering services across the account
• Manage a team of salaried and hourly associates, including hiring, training, employee performance and development
• Manage catering service-related financials
• Manage staffing levels and schedules
• Continually offer innovation, improvement to daily service and inspiration to your team
