Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably with a focus on catering and conference services.
  • Alternatively, a 4-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience in hospitality sales or event management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue streams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency in hotel management and sales software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise the Catering and Conference Services Managers to ensure effective sales activities and excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow existing accounts and attract new business, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts, follow-up, and sales administration to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to the catering and conference services team.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to catering and conference sales performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to foster repeat business and a positive reputation.
