About The Position

As the Director of Case Management at Select Specialty/Regency Hospitals, you will oversee the case management department, ensuring high-quality care for chronically and critically ill patients. You will utilize your clinical knowledge to manage utilization review, discharge planning, treatment plan management, and financial management effectiveness. Your role will involve developing patient-specific discharge plans, coordinating with payor sources, and ensuring compliance with facility-wide policies. You will also facilitate multi-disciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current licensure in a clinical or related discipline.
• Minimum three (3) years of medical case management or similar experience.
• Two (2) years of experience in managing a case management department or case management at Select Medical.
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Current RN licensure preferred.
• Working knowledge of the insurance industry and government reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Utilization Review (UR) and resource management.
