Directs and coordinates all job placement activities and services for students and graduates at the Campus; attains targeted placement rates per accrediting/state standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, and operates at all times within state and federal statutes and regulations and within standards of accreditation. Assists graduates with job placement. Conducts interviews with and hires, fires, promotes, demotes, trains, and develops all Career Services Representatives at the Campus. Supervises, coordinates, and customarily and regularly directs the work of all employees within the Career Services Department at the Campus. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to specific subject matter areas under his or her administrative guidance. Provides suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, discipline, or any other change of status for an employee under his or her direct supervision to the Director of Campus Administration; suggestions and recommendations are given particular weight. Participates in student orientation sessions. Participates in graduation ceremonies as assigned. Maintains the Campus Career Resource Center for students and graduates. Schedules and promotes career fairs and related activities, including workshops and seminars for students and graduates. Serves as a public relations liaison in the community. Surveys graduates and employers regularly. Assists the Externship Coordinator with selecting/coordinating student externship sites and setting up required meetings, including pre-externship sessions. Monitors and prepares externship attendance/drops reports and forms. Teaches courses as required. Travels as required. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Maintains professional and effective working relationships with all other Campus personnel. Conducts his or her professional and personal life in a fashion that fosters a positive impression of the Campus and the Company. Performs the job on site when required. Remote work is appropriate when onsite work is not required. Subject to change if superseded by Human Resource policy regarding remote work.
