About The Position

The Director of Cardiac Care (Med-Surg) provides strategic and operational leadership for the cardiac medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective patient care aligned with facility goals. This role oversees planning, management, implementation, and coordination of unit operations while fostering strong leadership, clinical excellence, and financial stability.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license for the position you are applying for.
Minimum of 5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care RN leadership experience required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to lead clinical operations in a cardiac medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities
