Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or facility/construction management; Master's degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction and project management.
• 7-10 years of facility management experience, including maintenance, custodial, and grounds.
• Experience working with building contractors and government for permitting.

• Knowledge of standards for higher education in custodial and maintenance services.
• Knowledge of CAD systems.
• Knowledge of CMMS, building automation, and access systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Ability to multi-task and negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Manage campus facilities including custodial, grounds, and maintenance in Henniker and Manchester.
• Ensure all building systems are operational and compliant with regulations.
• Review quotes from the facility team for accuracy and reasonability.
• Manage the operational budget for facilities, ensuring expenses stay within budget.
• Review pricing for major facilities projects and services.
• Oversee regulatory compliance including drainage, fire codes, and occupancy permitting.
• Manage the fleet of vehicles, including maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure timely responses to daily work orders, prioritizing student-impacting issues.
