About The Position
MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) is a private, liberal arts university with a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and adult education programs, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, MNU seeks to educate students to serve with purpose within the educational context of the liberal arts, and a Wesleyan-holiness theological perspective. MNU has an enrollment of approximately 1300 students with over half considered traditional undergraduate students. This Director role is responsible for the overall management, operation, and strategic direction of the campus store and campus post office, as well as being the point person for campus purchasing. This includes overseeing the textbook purchasing, general merchandise, branded apparel, and other items relevant to the university community. The director will ensure that the store provides excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining financial viability and supporting the university's mission.
