Position Summary The Director of Cabinet Operations & Strategy Execution reports to the Provost/VP of Student Engagement. This role ensures that strategy becomes practice —supporting Cabinet leaders as they collaborate across silos to deliver holistic student success, operational excellence, and sustainable financial health.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years strategy, operations, or project leadership experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park University’s mission of Christian higher education.
  • Have good attention to detail and excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Be customer friendly and hospitable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as partner to the President’s Cabinet, translating strategic priorities into coordinated workplans and timelines.
  • Design and manage Cabinet meeting rhythms, agendas, and follow‐through processes.
  • Support the VPs and Provost in aligning divisional goals with the Four Pillars of the North Park Promise.
  • Oversee execution of major cross‐divisional initiatives (e.g., enrollment‐retention integration, brand strategy, campaign readiness, academic program launches).
  • Partner with Finance and Cabinet leaders to coordinate Cabinet-level budget cycles, ensure alignment between divisional budgets and institutional priorities, and support transparent financial decision-making across the Four Pillars.
  • Ensure alignment between event purpose, audience, and the North Park Promise—so institutional gatherings advance strategy rather than simply consume leadership capacity.
