The Director of Business Operations at UC Health is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of business operations across various departments, including inpatient, outpatient, and professional services.   • Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporate them into performance duties.
  • Lead and oversee non-clinical operations, including scheduling, clerical, and billing.
  • Implement workflow efficiencies to achieve standardization and improve satisfaction.
  • Participate as a member of the leadership team, providing analytical and financial perspectives.
  • Develop collaborative relationships to improve standardization across the organization.
  • Plan, develop, and monitor operating and capital budgets for assigned areas.
  • Monitor expenditures and report on variances, trends, and projections.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for senior management and physician leaders.
  • Establish partnerships to leverage standardized tools and centralized activities.
  • Identify data needs and provide analysis for quality, operational, and financial initiatives.
  • Facilitate an environment conducive to collaboration and creativity.
  • Promote patient and physician satisfaction through excellent customer service.
  • Provide leadership for regulatory and accreditation inspection initiatives.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Health Administration.
  • 3-5 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 6-10 years of equivalent experience preferred.
